Dawn will be taking care of any preschool concerns while Kristie is on Maternity leave. Kristie will be gone from October 17 through January 2, 2012.
Sara, Pingree`s fabulous social worker, has arranged a Parent Support Night on October 27 at Pingree at 7:00 pm. The wonderful Cheryl Smith will be talking about BIG MAKS and getting involved in the legislature. Also, there will be a Parent conference on November 10th from 9-4 pm and November 11th from 9-12 pm. Topics include toilet training, dealing with difficult behaviors, transitioning into adulthood, etc. Price is $25.00 per individual or $30.00 per couple if preregistered or $5.00 more if you register the day of the conference. Contact Sara at Pingree to register or if you have questions.
The Utah Autism Collalition needs every willing member to sign help and help bring insurance reform to Utah. Please help us get coverage for ABA therapy for our kids. See their website to find out how you can help!
The Chili Open fundraiser is coming along well. We are still in need of sponsers, that start at $300.00 and up. If you know someone who would like to sponser Pingree, please contact laureli@vmh.com. Also you can buy tickets to the Chili Open Gala dinner for $75.00 per person or $750.00 for a table. The dinner will be on January 27th at Grand America and there will be a silent auction that night. On January 28th there will be a Winter Festival at Wheeler Farm. Tickets will be available soon for this event. If you have any items you can donate for silent auction baskets, please contact Melissa. Remember, all money raised for Pingree for this event will be matched by the rotary and given back to Pingree. It is a great fundraiser, so please help if you can!
The teacher luncheon will be October 27th this month. We are in need of crockpots of Chili. Please contact Melissa if you can help!
We also need some volunteers to help with parking for the Utes game on October 29th. Times to come.
