Meeting September 12, 2012

Welcome back to a new school year!  The PPSA is looking forward to meeting new parents and having fun this year!

We only had a few items to go over for the first meeting of the year.
1.  We need volunteers to help park the U of U game this Saturday 15, 2012 from 5-8 pm.  This is our biggest fundraiser for PPSA and a great way for working parents to get involved.  If you can help, please contact Melissa at mbc715@hotmail.com.

2.  We need volunteers to work the Pingree booth at the Sahara Cares Carnival on September 22, 2012.  The carnival runs from 11-2 pm and we would like people to sign up for 1 hour shifts.  If you can help, contact Melissa.  If you haven't signed up for the carnival, go to Saharacares.org for more info.

3.  The school is having a food drive going on until the end of the week.  Bring in your donations to support either U of U or BYU!!

4.  The first teacher luncheon will be on October 18th.  We will be having a chili and soup luncheon.  If you can send in a crock pot of soup or help with set up/clean up that day, please contact Melissa.  We will need help from 10-11 am for set up and from 1-2pm for clean up.
