Applications for Elementary will be going out the last week in November and be due back the beginning of January, 2012.
Pingree will be doing a book fair from December 13-15 in the gym in the mornings from 7-8 am and in the afternoons from 2-4 pm. If you can help during any of these days, please let Dawn know. More information will come later on the book fair.
Don`t forget to come to the parent conference on Thursday, November 10th from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm and Friday, November 11th from 8:30 am until 12:00 pm. Child care will be provided on Thursday from 3:00 until 4:30 pm if you want to attend the conference all day on Thursday. Just let your child`s teacher know so your child isn`t sent home.
T-shirt orders are due Thursday, November 17th. The shirts are very cute this year, so get yours today!
We need U of U football parking help this Saturday, November 12th from 11:30 am until 4:30 pm and also on Friday, November 25th. If you can help at either of these games please contact Melissa at 801-347-0771 or at mbc715@hotmail.com.
Next teacher luncheon will be December 8th. It will be a sandwich theme. More details to come!
Preparations for the Chili Open are coming along. We really need to get Sponsers!!! We need to have $5,000 in sponserships to go into the Chili Open. If you know of a business that can help, sponserships start at $350.00 and go up. Details on sponserships will be going out in parent emails. If you need help getting a sponsership, please contact Laurel Ingham at 801-273-6392 ot laureli@vmh.com. You can also attend the Gala dinner where the baskets are raffled off for $75.00 a person or $1500 for a table.
Baskets for the Chili Open are coming along nicely. Some of our themes this year are BYU, U of U, Spa, Adventure, Family Fun, Night Out, Children`s Books, Chocolate, Ski, Valentine`s, Car, Golf, Baby boy and Baby girl. If you have anything you can donate to these baskets, please contact Melissa. Raffle tickets and tickets to the Winter Festival on January 28th, 2012 will be available soon. This year the Winter Festival will be having a 5K and a 1000 meter dash for the kids. Remember - this provides money for scholarships for YOUR CHILD and classroom supplies. Please get involved and help make this a success!
