Information about school pictures were sent home in backpacks. Pictures will be taken October 21.
Also on the 21st is the next teacher luncheon. We are asking for soups to be brought in, preferably in a crock pot that can be plugged in to keep them warm.
The Family Fun Fair is on Friday, Oct 22 from 1-4. Please RSVP if you haven't already so that we can get the right amount of food.
The Halloween festivities kick off at 1pm on October 28! Be sure to arrive early to get a place to park and make it in time for the parade. Class parties will follow the parade.
There is a parent support group that meets on every other Tuesday, alternating between morning and afternoon drop-offs. There will also be one scheduled on an evening each month. Please check the calendar for dates and times.
Parking is the PPSA's largest fundraiser, which covers class activities, teacher appreciation events, and other activities like the Family Fun Fair next Friday. It only takes a couple of hours, and others are on hand to help direct if you haven't done it before. The tailgaters are a lot of fun, too! The next one is this Saturday from noon to 2 or 3.
Chili Open is coming up soon, and plans are already underway. The next meeting will focus quite a bit on this. Funds raised here are matched on a sliding scale, and are a large part of the scholarship money enabling students to attend the Pingree Center. Raffle tickets are being sold (see Liz in the office) and donations can also be made directly. Jenna is assembling the baskets that are auctioned off, please email her at jenlc23@aol.com for more information.
The parent conference will be November 8 & 9. Flyers will be coming home this week in backpacks.
The next meeting will be on November 10, at 9:30 in the upstairs conference room across from the library.
