From Kristie & Dawn: Applications for the 2012-2013 elementary school year have gone out and are due back by January 13, 2013. If you have questions, please contact Dawn.
Santa is scheduled to come on Thursday, December 13. Schedules have been sent home in backpacks and is posted in the office. Make sure to arrive 15 minutes early, so you don't miss your child with Santa!
Book fair is going on this week in the gym. It runs through Thursday, December 13th. Come support the school and pick up a few Christmas gifts!
Evaluations for new preschool admits will begin at the end of January, 2013.
Winter Break is from December 21, 2012 until January 7, 2013.
From Laurel: We need to continue to work on the Chili Open. We need Sponsorships to reach the $5,000 mark to be part of the Chili Open. Sponsorships start at $350, but we will take any donation amount to put towars sponsorships. If you can help, please contact Laurel at laureli@vmh.com. Drawing tickets for the Chili Open are available in the front office. They are $2 each or 6 tickets for $10. We also need items for the baskets that will be auctioned off on February 1, 2013 at the Chili Open dinner. There will also be a Winter Festival on February 2, 2013 at Wheeler Farm. There will be activities for the kids, golf, a 5K run, and chili! It is $30 a family or $5 a person. Remember, the money raised from this event helps to go towards scholarships and classroom supplies at Pingree. Please help!
From PPSA: We have a teacher luncheon on December 13, 2012. It is a potatoe bar and we need desserts and potatoe toppings donated for the luncheon. We will provide the potatoes, cheese, and drinks.
We plan to reschedule the Family Fun Fair for January. More info to come!
