From Dawn & Krisite: All the elementary letters have been sent out and the elementary is full for next year. Preschool evaluations for placement for next school year are still being conducted.
Carson Smith scholarship applications for new applicants and for students who need to renew will be available soon. Dawn will make sure the applications go out to parents who will need them.
Summer school applications will be coming out soon. Summer school will be run July 8 through July 25.
WiFi has been installed in the school and should be up running by the end of this month. Soon the new Smart Boards will be ready to go (we have one in the libraby and one in Markell's room) once the WiFi is complete!
From Laurel: Chili Open check will be presented on March 21, 2013 at the Sons of Utah Pioneer's during a luncheon. We made over $12,000 at this year's Chili Open. Thanks to all the parents who helped make this event a success!
From PPSA: Teacher Appreciation is in May and it will be a Pirate Theme this year. We will be having a catered BBQ for the teachers on May 16th. The PPSA provides daily gifts for the teachers that week and a main gift for all staff on the 16th. We would appreciate parents donating gift cards at a value of $10.00 to raffle off during teacher appreciation week.
We plan on doing the Family Fun Fair the 3rd weekend in May. There will also be a Book Fair at the school that week. More details to come.
We plan to create a school t-shirt that will be available by the end of the school year. More details to come.
Next PPSA meeting is April 10th at 9:30 am.
